Hello and happy you stopped by…So excited to share some more Style Revamp with you all.
Today I found myself sitting in the laundry room, thinking I really like it in here. Silly, right? Let me explain. 🙂 When we started the hallway project the scope of work spilled over into the laundry room and the bathroom. It is funny how that happens. The laundry room is cool and colorful with some interesting decorative pieces thrown into the mix. I really love how this room turned out. After all, I spend quite a bit of time in this little sanctuary.
The paint selection blends through the hallway, laundry room and bathroom. These colors make the room cool, bright, refreshing and clean. 🙂 The paint color we used was Valspar Signature Semigloss Grenadine EB38-3 and Valspar Signature Woodlawn Colonial Grey, from Lowes.
I reused these Ikea towers from our living room to store the children’s clothes. The colorful bins were finds at Target from several years ago. Perfect to help the kiddos stay organized while getting dressed. The galvanized shelving was a find from Ikea and my hubby made the clothes rack which hangs underneath.
I found these old crates at my favorite local vintage store, Hand Pickin . They hold soaps, clothes pins and of course, one for change my hubby always leaves in his pockets. He says this is my mad money. 🙂
I just love this company flor.com . I mentioned this company in our Mudroom Hallway redo. These tiles are easy to assemble, pet and child friendly, and tiles can be swapped out if stains or damage occur. This eliminates having to replace the entire rug, very nice. They provide designer assistance online. Oh and did I mention, you can order samples (just like paint). This will assure the perfect color choice in your design space.
When we moved into our home in 2010, I was needing something quick to use as artwork. I purchased this painters canvas, a holiday markdown, from Pottery Barn . I hung it up, thinking I would switch it out with something else later. But, it became our focal point and an inspiration for the laundry room. 🙂 I love it!
We painted the flower pot with chalkboard paint, making it into a missing sock container. Where do all those socks go? My daughter says, “The socks go to sock land mommy, which of course is in Disneyland you know”. She’s got a wonderful imagination. Mommy wants to visit sock land.
